ROSE

image
Two sides to life
Two faces
Two edges
And so are you
Underneath your beauty
You hid your thorns
A double faced monster
Posing as a beauty
You crept in
like a shadow
You are a plague
Seeping through the pores
Poisoned the blood
Wormed your way to the heart
Ravaged the whole body
Beyond repair
You left passion
Where your hands touched
Only to replace them
With delightful pain
Smother you I should
When you were in me
With the heat of my passion
And my burning gaze
Silence me you should
When you had the chance
For all you left behind
Is a wounded snake
