UNSHAKEABLE

image
No matter how many days we painfully spent
In love together we share a heart
No force our love can pull apart
From this path I vow not to repent
I want to remain by your side
Till the passing of the tide
Though the reign of lion ends with age
My love for you will surpass this age
For your love has spread its roots
That will forever send up new shoots
You and I together
Will hold hands with forever
Ours is a bond unbreakable
Let’s make it a union unshakeable

  1. The story of love….. love keeps on being the much talked about subject, let’s make love, not war.

  2. I like this poem, like a pure love. You must be in love to write this poem, right? Remind me of past relationship that ends so bad ..
Anyway, thanks for like my diary.

    1. Yeah, I was at the time but it ended badly too. Funny how love seems to drag pain along, whereas pain thrives without love.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and the comment. Love it 🙂
