red rim sun above dark clouds – survival

a woman dressed in white – sweet promise of forever

on the stove the kettle hisses then whistles goodbye yesterday

white cattle egrets high in the blue sky – the beauty of freedom

the terrified chicks in the brush – a hovering hawk

Sweet red mushy heart shielded by her thick green rind earth’s gift to the soul

Rain, rain, rain of love cleanse my heart of all its aches guitless as a babe’s
